The Company
Darren Gaudry, the founder and CEO of Passport To Wealth, along with some other expert marketers have developed this new business system. With a launch date of April 1, 2008, My Internet Business was offered exclusively to the members of Passport To Wealth during its pre-launch. The members of Passport To Wealth were given a discounted membership rate to enroll during the pre-launch period. Although the two companies are separate, MyInternetBusiness does appear to just be an updated, revised takeoff of Passport To Wealth.
The Products
The My Internet Business product line appears to be the same general fare offered by other high ticket programs. Included are the traditional library of ebooks and bundles of software. Unfortunately, they do not appear to have any new, real proprietary products. This is unfortunate for their distributors as that is what the market is demanding, unique, one of a kind products.
Cost To Join And Compensation Plan
There are 4 different options to join the company at:
* Bronze Level - $495 to join, $300 for direct sales, $100 for overrides
* Silver Level - $995 to join, $700 for direct sales, $150 overrides
* Gold Level - $1995 to join, $1500 direct sales, $300 for overrides
* Platinum Level - $2995 to join, $2000 direct sales, $500 for overrides
The pay structure is an immediate comp plan, having done away with the dinosaur 2up comp plan of Passport To Wealth. This means that you will be paid on your first sale, rather than having to pass up your first 2 sales to your personal sponsor.
My Internet Business does offer a call center where you can hire your own PBA (Professional Business Assistant). Your PBA will answer the incoming calls from your potential customers and then you pay them a percentage of your commissions for closing your deals for you.
Conclusion
Although MyInternetBusiness is not a scam, it does appear to have some negative attributes. It appears that My Internet Business was designed to eliminate the failed 2up comp plan of Passport to Wealth. Although the 2up comp plan did need to be thrown out, the pay plan of MyInternetBusiness does not appear to be as lucrative as some of its competitors.
The way to achieve duplication and massive leverage is through a matching override comp plan such as Big Ticket To Wealth offers. When you have people earning the same amount for personal sales as well as overrides, this creates an environment of team synergy. You will be much more motivated to train and help your people when you are earning a matching override bonus from their efforts.
Another concern is realized with the product line. They appear to be the standard fare with nothing fresh and new to offer. This could present a challenge for their members in marketing the program.
